Choosing the right style of screen-printing is the difference between a design that looks good to one that really stands out. We have several screen printing methods that we use at our facility in Cambridge to match different types of artwork, fabric, and brand goals. Whether you're printing your company name on hoodies, detailed graphics on t-shirts, or high-impact designs for event merchandise, we use industry grade equipment and proven techniques to make sure the prints are professionally done.
Spot Colour Printing – Plastisol
The most common method, Spot Colour Printing has one screen per colour of the design. It lays down a solid, deep colour directly onto the fabric, which works well if you need bold, uncomplicated graphics and logos.
CMYK Printing (4 Colour Process)
This style breaks down a colour picture into four basic colours: cyan, magenta, yellow, and black. Then are printed in layers of halftone dots to rebuild the entire range of colours. It's the usual method to reproduce complex images on apparel.
Halftone Printing
Halftone printing simulates gradients and shading with small dots of varying size and spacing. It is a perfect approach for creating the illusion of depth, shadows, and delicate artwork in one colour or limited palette.
Grayscale Printing
Similar to halftone, grayscale printing uses varying gradations of gray in order to print images, but without colour. It's often used for high-end, elegant finishes or to create depth in black-and-white pieces.
3D Puff Printing
Adds depth to your designs by using a special ink that expands when cured, creating a raised, three-dimensional effect. It’s bold, tactile, and perfect for logos or graphics that need to pop off the fabric and grab attention.
